Question by Katie h: What kind of yarn should I use to knit or crochet a swimsuit?
Looking to crochet (or knit) a bikini, but I need to know what kind of yarn to use and any links to sites with cute patterns would be helpful. Everyone says that swimsuits are just one of those things you shouldn’t knit because they stretch and sag, but I have seen patterns and nowdays there are so many different types of yarn, I know it’s possible. I know cotton should be avoided, and probably silk, but something with elastic, rayon, or nylon in it would probably work. Your thoughts?

Question by : Is there anyone willing to donate cash or yarn for a Knitting/Crochet Ministry?
We make prayer shawls, hats and scarves for needy children, and other items. We are having trouble reaching out to people because of the lack of supplies. Is there anyone who is willing to donate yarn or cash to buy yarn? It would be greatly appreciated, and any donations will be included in our bulletin. Thank you.

Question by sallees56: Making yarn for knitting out of pet shedding?
Has any own made yarn for knitting out of pet hair. I have a dog and a cat and they constantly shed and I collect hair by the bag. Can’t I use some how. It seems like the shed hair should have some value?

Question by elderberry: Any knitting yarn shops in daejeon, south korea?
My husband and I are moving to Daejeon, SK in September and I am an avid knitter (unable to breathe without yarn supply). Does anyone know of a yarn shop or anywhere at all to buy yarn in Daejeon? And, if not in Daejeon, anywhere at all in South Korea?

Question by Stacy J: Washable yarn for crochet/knitting other than acrylic?
I am just learning how to crochet and knit, and I know that wool has to be dry cleaned. Acrylic can be washed, but is a lot of times very rough. Is it that there are different types of acrylic yarn that are softer than others or is it actually different yarns? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
