She co-authored Little Box of Scarves I and II, Little Box of Sweaters, Basically Brilliant Knits, Perfectly Brilliant Knits, and authored Knits Three Ways, Children’s Knits, and Kritter Knits (coming soon). She has given workshops across America and created custom knits for the industry and individuals. Melissa currently lives in Santa Monica, California.

    I found this very helpful. But could you do a lesson on how to sew a seam that has stripes of two colours–as in a knit hat? That would be nice. Thanks.

    Thanks so much for this video. Iv knitted clothes before and been very disappointed with the seam, they never looked right. I’ll definately try this method.

    Thanks for saving the seams for my daughter’s legwarmers…..and a black of 80 squares I finished nearly a year ago and haven’t wanted to tackle due to seamingly unseamly seams…….

    How would you stop the rest of the thread from travelling along the rest of the row either side of the cut area? I presume you would have to tie these.
