Question by Ammy: What would be a good knitting project for a beginner, other than a scarf?
I was thinking of leg warmers. I know how to knit and purl, I’ve been practicing. I’ve knitted a lot of scarves, and I want to do something different and challenging. If you can, please add a pattern, or a web sight with good patterns! Thank you so much, i appreciate it!

I recently took up knitting, i know most basic stitches and have just finished the usual first project of a scarf. I am planning to make a blanket to practice some new things but i have some cheap and cheerful brightly coloured wool that i want to use up and the suitable sized needles. what can i make with these?

I’m just practicing the basic knitting stitch, repeating it row by row, and I started with 20 cast-on stitches, and now I have 30+.. somehow I keep adding stitches, any suggestions??
